HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Last year I shared some of my goals over on BasicBloggerss and I think it’s so fun to look back and read through them so I am documenting them here this year!
- This year I want to get my full licence so I don’t have a limit of people in the car with me
- I start studying Fashion business & design in March and I hope to make some friends and learn more about the fashion industry
- I have talked about Word before World on my instagram before, but basically I want to put God first and do devotions every morning before diving into social media and scrolling aimlessly for hours
- I have been travelling so much this year (7 countries!!) and I know that this year will be much more local so I hope to post on my blog regularly <3
- With being more local, I can’t wait to try more local coffee shops and look into boutiques! While I was at bible school in Australia, my friends and I tried nearly every coffee shop in town and it was so fun not to always go to Starbucks or something
- Thrift more and spend less money on things I don’t need. I have over a dozen white shirts and not very many of them are good quality. I want to invest in my wardrobe -since I’ve stopped growing- or buy pieces for less. My best friend @rebeccasophia.ca is a thrifting queen so let me know if you want to see a “Thrift with us” video 🙂
- Get a part time job. Now that I am out of highschool and starting to be more independent, I want to start making some money and saving up for big purchases!
- Read more books. I spend so much time on my laptop or phone and I want to sit down and relax especially before bed, and read some good books! A few on my list are: Uninvited by Lisa Terkeurst, Unexpected by Christine Caine and Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis
- I am so blessed to have over 520 of you follow me on Instagram and I really want to grow this year and plan good content every week!
